I know a lot of gasser guys are using generators to charge their receiver packs in flight, so if you had a heli that ran okay on nimh batteries could you install an onboard generator that would charge the main flight pack during flight?

Those would be some long flight times.

Helicopters don't fly, they beat the air into submission!

Tried It
Tried the 2500's on mine, went back to 1500 NiCad's - across the board on all bird's - Tossed my Nimh's into the ignition circuits of my EI gasser's. Grate for capacity but just don't give it up as good as a NiCad.
