It was 59* out sunny and no wind, I just had to fly atleast one flight today.... I put a couple batteries on the charger while I rebuilt the mechanics on the Hughes 500E heli and figured I was pretty rusty from not flying in over a year. I decided to start with the silver frame 450SE, it went pretty good and alot better than I had expected. I put 2 flight in on it and switched to the 500E scaler for a couple more flights. Things went well so I got the 600E out I think I'm going to spend more time fly it this year than in the past.. It was way more stable and easier flying in my small yard... The 450 is easier to manuever in my yard but the 600 is the best. I still have 2 more 450's to get in the air, hoping for good weather tomorrow again so I can fly some more...
I'm still smiling

Tom..... No "D" flying....

So! Did you flip the 600 in the backyard 5ft off the ground go into a tail down funnel and shoot up into a piroflip ending in an inverted auto flipping it over at the end to land on the skids?

If not its not really a big deal.

Glad to see the fingers still know how to move the sticks slider gotta enjoy the big boy toys.

No Really I am the club President!!!

Toolman so far the batteries are doing great I get a strong 6 minute flight with them. The only problen I have noticed is the silver 450 seems to drag on the packs pretty hard, I notice a huge difference in flight times on that heli too. Probably a bearing going but nothing seems to be binding...
Tryans yea I did all that twice, but added an inverted auto from 6000ft doing inverted piros all the way to the ground before I flipped it and gently set the heli down on it's skids... Not a big deal I guess if your mad 3D SKILZ are peakin'....

Other than that I just flew around doing 8's and circles....

Woke up to 30 mph winds and sleet/rain and only 35* what a change in weather... I guess I won't be flying today, so it's time to teardown the 450 that is causing a heavy drain on the batteries....

"State of Emergency" here in Mass., thousands of basement's flooded, Home Depot's parkin Lot is now a lake big enough to stock trout in Hasn't stopped raining for one second since Saturday morning, hopefully it will stop tonight! Luckily no water in my basement (which is also "mantown" thanks to my very simple and cheap but effective water drainage system "patent pending". Hope Stocky don't got no water, some communities have 5 feet of water
