Well boys, 3.5 months later she is finally complete. Enjoy the pics and video below. I will post an airborne action vid as soon as I get someone to help me film it! She is really stable out side and fairly predictable. The Align stabilization system helps a lot for this 25" heli.

Well this heli is a "one off". It's not any kit or anything like that. It the fuse started off as a plastic toy that I got from Big Lots about 8 months ago, I can’t even remember the name of the toy. The Fuse had the basic shape oh the Dauphin, bust looks nothing like it does now.

The Mechanics is a Trex 250, with re-sized main shaft bearing to hold the Guai main shaft and 4 blade head. Has the align flybarless stabilization system in it, and an additional HH gyro for the tail (the align 3 axis gyro wasn't giving a powerful enough signal to the tail ESC). Here are some pics below of the inside for a better understanding..

Hey bro I used a Wemotec fan dude! I think it's a 50mm fan. It was a pain in the but to find because of it's odd size. I only found one place on line who was selling that particular size!!

Now that is just awesome! I walked by the toy section the other day..saw a helicopter, and thought how cool that would look flying rc. guess I'm not the only one that wants to fly everything!!

The align system is nearly as big as the frame

Thanks for the fan info. I look forward to seeing your next project. I am into my first conversion, a 1/18 Little Bird. The mockup is going painfully slow though even though I am going KISS on my first attempt
