I don't even know for sure if I'm going yet, but I'm already extremely excited! I was thinking about making different threads, but why not combine them all into one for right now. As time gets closer, we'll branch them off.

But anyway...

I know this year, there is going to be an EXPLOSION of new electronics at IRCHA and with the way things have been going, it's gonna be like "pick your poison". However, outside of a few helis (Rave and I think a 90 from outrage, oh and the 700E), I don't know of many new kits coming to the scene. What's gonna be the hot kit seen/sold at IRCHA this year? I'm taking bets! (Ok not really)

What do you hope to achieve (ie purchase ) at IRCHA this year? If all things go according to plan for me, I'm hoping to COMPLETELY revamp my fleet at IRCHA this year. I want to walk away with 2-4 "new" helicopters with ALL the goodies I need for them. I also plan on selling quite a few items of my own (so look out for a lot of stuff to be sold by me towards the event). Haha, I would put out my "shopping list" now, but I'll wait until the event is closer. I can't wait to see what kind of deals I'll find along the tents as well as the special the vendors will be putting out (I wish they could post here just what kind of specials they'll be doing).

IRCHA last year was SIMPLY AWESOME! I expect it to be even MORE AWESOMER (yes, that's right... MORE AWESOMER!) this year! Hopefully, this time I'll have some $$$ to play with!

Oh, and somehow some way, I'm winning ONE OF THE RAFFLES! Can't wait to see what's going to be raffled off this year either!

LOL, I just wanted to share/express my excitement with the RR community, feel free to do the same!

Signed,
Grown ass kid waiting for Christmas in the summer (Aug 11-15)

Well I'm willing to bet by then the Mikado Logo 700 will be there I'm betting the baddest a$$ 90 eletric there will be. Of course I'm also betting history on most flybarless helis will be present as well. A few of us from thousands of miles away will be attending. To be honest I'll fly very little and don't care to. I'm interested in enjoying the ambience meeting all the peeps from forums and seeing the new tech and pros all show their stuff it should be a great time.

I am hoping to fly for the first time at IRCHA this year. Many years of watching as a spectator but this year I want to be on the flight line.

My first time at IRCHA was in 2008. I hope to get back for Friday and Saturday this year if possible. Depends on if I wind up in Korea.

Question:

Flying from out of country does one have to fly to Indianapolis? Is this the nearest major airport to Muncie? I was hoping to be closer, but assume Muncie must in fact be very small?

Indianapolis is going to be your closest large airport. It is around an hour drive to AMA site. Muncie is a good size city but nothing compared to Indianapolis. If you need any other info shoot me a pm, I live very close to AMA.

Yes, Indy is the closest. We go past the airport going through and it's not that far really. Maybe about an hours drive to the flying site is all.

Thanks fellas, look forward to meeting you all indeed. Hotel and carts are booked, so just the flights and rental car is all, I'm committed now pretty exciting!

Agreed! IRCHA was awsome last year and its been every time Ive gone...well worth the driving. The SWARM area had the best wings, and fresh made potato chips Ive ever had...and dont forget the rum balls.

I wonder if there is a possibility to open up more flight lines. Oh and if possible added a few more food options and make sure the bison burger guy makes it back

The lady friend already told me she want's to come with me which may or may not be a good thing

The only things I plan on adding to my helis is some actual FBL blades(if I like any of them better than the Radix I already use).

This will be my second IRCHA and I am very excited!!! BTW Just a suggestion, everybody needs to put their screen names on their tags as well as their real names so that they can be recognized by the other members. I don't know how many people I missed last year because I didn't know who they were I think I will start a thread on it .........Ron

I also want a sticker that I can put in the window of my car that says 'IRCHA BOUND'. On the way there, I couldn't help but wonder how many cars around us were heading that way... heck, I even saw a few helis in people's back seats!

I like the screen names on their name tags and the "IRCHA BOUND" sticker is a must
