I have a 7chp specturmized, I have a spectrum module in the radio, I have a spectrum rx in each heli. It's been doing fine for about 13 mo. I went flying Sunday everything was fine, went home I didn't do anything to the radio, I always check the helis to make sure nothing is loose or getting too sloppy after flying. I did not change anything on the helis. Today I went flying the Trex 450 was out of trim, I worked half the flight just trimming the heli, as I was coming in to land it was out of trim again. I looked over the heli could not find anything loose or out of tolerance. I know when something like this happens something is not right, so I put the 450 up until I could check everything. I brought the Trex 600n out, went into a hover it also was out of trim, I use the same radio for both helis. I kept in a hover to trim the heli it also did not stay in trim. I took the 450 and rebound it, still it would not stay in trim. Is it something with my radio?

PS sorry if this issue has already been posted I searched could not find anything on it..

Trex 450, Trex 600n nothing fancy...

Is it just the trims that are out or have some of you settings ( ie pitch range ,throttle curve ect) changed? What servos are you using in the helis?

Thanks for your reply Tom, I checked the settings, pitch curves, sub trims, end points and went to all of the settings and checked to make sure nothing was changed. About a month ago I went flying when I started flying the 450 I always do several pitch pumps, just a habit, that's how I make sure I'm in stunt mode (I have crashed and almost crashed thinking I was in flight mode :eek anyway when I did my pitch pump the heli pulled hard to the left on negative pitch, I landed looked at the cyclic servos, the aileron servo was not moving past mid position. When I checked the end points the aileron end points were set at +100 -00 I don't remember setting that. That same setting was on my Trex 600 Too. That is why I think there might be something wrong with my radio. I have 3 hextronik HTX900 servos on the cyclic on the 450 and 3 Futaba S3151 servos on the cycle controls for the 600. I have brought out my DX6i transmitter, I going to bind the helis with it and see if I get the same results. I sure do like that 7chp it has a few more goodies on it, I'm not willing to take a chance with my helis using it. If anybody has any ideals on this issues I sure would like to hear them. thanks for time.

I hope you find your problem. I know that I have some locals that have had some trouble with the JR radios finding the correct centers on some off brand servos during powerup. One time they were fine and the next time they were off on the centers. Locally they were Hitech servos that the radio had an issue with so i would assume it could happen with other servos. You could always just get a FASST module and rx and your issues will go away. Good luck and I hope you find your fix
