Been looking for a Gasser - Probably will end up buying one RTF if the price is right, Lately I have seen a couple of ads being posted on the various forums for Century Radikal’s for sale, the last 2 ads stated that these heli’s are new, with less that a couple of gallons thru them, which makes me wonder if the currently owner’s are not happy with the end result or performance of the heli.

What do you guys think,

Thanks,

Raja

You should keep the spare motor and put it on the Radikal so you have 2 motors on it. It will give you twice the power

If it ain't broke then break it.

Flame747,

Some folks want it to perform like a electric now, much less a glow, so they get a dose of reality, and end up moving on...

Then again some folks get so attached they keep at it, and enjoy it for what it is..It is a lot of cheap fun for me..I decided a while back the machine does fine with me with a stock engine...Since then, the engine builders have made some headway getting the power up even more..

I guess its up to what you want to do..

Twin cylinder?
I got some ballistic power as it is right now with the modified motor that I have

Today I was trying out my Spectra in the back yard, I punched full power and my hair blew back even while it was 25 feet away

Your hair must be very long. You must be needing a haircut

If it ain't broke then break it.

Thanks Bill,

I am still a Newbie, only flying or trying to fly a Trex 450 Sport, and I am at the point that I want to move up to a larger heli, the only problem I have with electric is the limited flight time, so to get a large electric is out of the question, heck currently have 10 packs for my 450, don't want to have to buy 10 pack for a 600 class.

Now would I love to do all that crazy 3D flying, the answer is yes, however I will be happy if I could do a few basis "moves" happier if I can bring the heli back home in one piece.

So a stock setup for me is fine, the only upgrade I can think about that worth the money, is an on-board generator.

Just waiting to find a heli that catches my eyes, so I can pull the trigger.

Thanks again,

FCA
