tail
I did a bench test for about 84 seconds full throttle,to see if there is noise, griding or missing turns.i took gear apart as well as the CV joint, did not see any wear and tear. this is half car and half heli
seems like everything is ok,gearing is my first priority when it comes to modification.
thanks guys

Freaking nice work! I love the shot where you "plowed" stuff around on the workbench to clear a spot to lay your beloved creation down to take pictures! :-) (Reminds me of my work benches!)

I'm sure I don't need to mention it, but with the additinal distance the tail rotor is above the axis of the tail boom, your going to generate a lot more torque on the tail tube assemble, so make sure everything is properly pinned so you don't end up with something like this:

Nice work!

Just wondering, now that the direction of rotation is reversed, how do you plan on getting the tail blades to spin upwards into the m/r wash? Also, cannot tell from the pic, is the t/r going to be canted?

Looks great!

Jay Hawk custom made Torque tube Tail
to flyinghigh and s76.
i'm not sure yet how much the tail weigh,i want to put everything first and find out.
i know the rotation( main and tail is clockwise)that is reversed.i might change the CV to umbrella gear
same as the buttom gear box,so the tail going counterclockwise.if i have enough room for 110 degree Tail shaft angle.
Thanks for your comments
