Has anyone used longer ball link balls in the inner ring of the swash plate that goes to the mixing arms and washout arms there is plenty of room for some longer ones to clear the outer ring and this should in theory increase cyclic rate without having to increase the swash mix. If your swash maxes out at 7 deg then with longer balls on the swash you should be able to get 8 or so depending on the length without increasing the swash anymore. Or am I wrong about that theory and if anyone has done this with success please let me know where to get the ball link balls. Just looking for other ways to stop the binding and get max throws without relocating or grinding the ring although I will if there is no other options.

Bert Kammerer does this on his 600.
States that he gets 11.5deg on cyclic, yes cyclic lol.
Its only the inner swash balls that you should make longer, the outer ones for the same effect, should be shorter.
Did this when I had my gasser, worked very well.

Ok I saw that quick uk has the 3m thread x 6 or 8mm standoff to center of ball wich might work but I was wondering will the align ball links work with these balls or will I have to change them too?

The balls are a little larger, so you will need to size your links. BTW, Quick also has 1 and 0.5mm. thick washers that will fit the balls.

I am not following you on the washers what would they be for? Would it be to extend the ball out a bit or something else? Thanks for the info on the balls and links, so I con just use my ball link sizer tool and be fine with the stock align ball links?

I mentioned the washers so you would have some adjustability with the extended balls, they also have the same extended balls with longer threaded studs. The balls you have are 4.75mm., UK balls are 4.76mm. You won't have to take that much of the Align ball links.

From other places I have read you need it team out the alighn ball link a bit to fit the quick uk ball so that would make them a bit larger, I guess I will find out soon enough I have some on there way here as we speak.

someone is not telling you accurate info.
I have done the full Quick UK ball and link conversion on my 700N, and I can tell you 1000% that the Quick UK balls are smaller than the Trex ones.
You cannot use any stock Trex links on Quick UK balls.
600n and 700n use same ball sizes, Quick UK links and balls are all the same size across their range as well.

JR links and balls are smaller than Align, and these fit quite well on the Quick UK balls.

Post site and number
Post the site where to buy and the parts numbers and how many please. I'm not too familiar with my 600, a pic of the links to be changed would help to make sure I get it right, thanks

The UK balls are slightly larger than the align balls on the 600, I just got them in the mail and checked them. I will fit themtonightand see how much more cyclic I get from them.

The balls I am changing out are the balls in the inner ring of the swash plate going to the mixing arms, I am installing longer ones 8mm to give it more throw ind increase cyclic. Here is a link to the ones I bought and I will post results tonight if I can.

Well I installed the QuickUK balls and the align ball links were a bit tight on them so about 1/4 to 1/2 turn with the ball link sizer tool and it is perfect. Now I can get 10deg pitch and 8deg cyclic without binding in the corners. I could get more pitch with a cyclic ring but I fly airplanes also and dont want to mess with it. Here is a photo of before and after and the 8mm balls.
