I WANT ONE!!!! I've been watching this space since IRCHA and would kill to get my hands on one of these beautiful machines. I built a 700E just to string me along until this beast is finally released.

Can anyone from HQ give us an update?

Ok, I watched a few videos of the 90E.... Yeah, I want one now! If it's not out by IRCHA (and things go according to plan), I'll be "building" one just like I did with my 700 nitro. And the 700E will be an excellent platform for my "conversion".

I look at this fourm once or twice a week to see how the E is coming along and nothing!! Sad really becase around IRCHA time this thing was IMHO the coolest heli coming out. Now less than a year later it appears to be a dated design that has not even hit the shelves yet. The people behind this company have a gift when it comes to marketing and teasing the consumer with cool products. If the company can ever get production ramped and new products to market quickly it will be exciting to see where it all goes...

Saw the E and (N) Auroras fly today in Huntsville, AL. Markus Kim and ASJ walked out to the flight line together with their 'E' models (700E was pre-production as it had that triangle thing on the side of the frames) after the auto contest today.

Markus went first and flew VEEEERRRRRYYYY low. The eAurora flew nice and tight and Markus used a change in terrain to his advantage making for a pretty and exciting flight.

Alan's 700E was VEEEERRRRYYYY powerful. While Markus flew tight, ASJ flew a power routine that made the 700E exciting in a much different way. Later in the flight, Alan used the same terrain change during funnel-eights, rising and lowering to match the terrain.

The Avant was flybarred, while the Align was flybar-less and the 700E seemed incredibly fast on cyclic.

Understand this is from a hobbyist that will (probably) never own a 90-sized E-model due to cost, but both models looked awesome.

So, the point of this post is: the eAurora is flying....

And class - can someone remind us how many years the nAurora was flying in the hands of the sponsors before it was released to the public?

We are currently doing a few finishing touches like finalizing updating the manual that comes in the CD and finishing some bags packing after that we'll start shipping to dealers in the US first and right after that to the rest of the world. There will be some new additional dealers in the US as well that will be announced at the time of shipping.

I would think the e-Aurora would be lighter than the 700E. I wonder why the 700E seemed more powerful?

doesn't matter, the 700e will be out waaaaaaay before the e-aurora . I recieved a phone call from heli proz about a week ago asking me if I was still interested in the aurora after being on the list for over a year he laughed with me when I told him "are you kiddin me" no thanks I bought a flybarless 700le. there will never be an availability issue for parts or kits.Good luck to you guys on the hope and wish list

To my surprise, they've actually been in stock at HeliProz consistently for about the past month...
