i have about 60 - 70 flights on my 700. yesterday the one way on the clutch was not engaging properly and it took a while just to start the engine as the one way was intermittent. the starter wand would just spin. Anyone had this happen? I am assuming it is simple replacement of the clutch.

also has fuel nipple back out in flight...forced auto number 4. anyone jb weld them in?

dont grease that one way bearing. take it out and oil it real good and it will engage every time, unless it is worn out of course. Anyway, this worked for me.

thanks guys, i'll pull it out and try the oil thing, and if not, a new clutch...

and that's why you need to have at least two.

I had same problem, replaced clutch, RC bearings sell one way bearings for them.
The bearing number is visible.
I am not sure about quality, as it is still on shelf.
I just could not throw out a good clutch.

clean it out as best you can before oiling it. The slipping one-way is usually caused by some dirt or other gunk in there.

ATF is the best oil for oneways. any dextron ATF will due. just clean it up and give it a good dip.

i ended up doing was cleaning it with injection cleaner (cheap, and what I had), and then running lightweight oil. no slipping, works like it used to. thanks to all...looks like something i'll have to maintain every 50 flights or so.
