I am a bit curious, I was given this head and What I do know is that it is a Hirobo head, but I have no idea what type it is. It has a bent spindle and I need to replace it or just throw the head on my junk pile. If anyone is able to identify it that would really help me out.

Also is this head any good? does it fly and perform well? Any information will also be well appreciated..

Or if anyone wants it let me know.

Thanks.

it looks like a hybrid of the SSR-IV and newer components.

It's definitely a hybrid! Blue and black parts assembled together.

this is my thread on the SSR-IV head:
https://rc.runryder.com/t567860p1/

but since you have the later version grip (blue), it should be fine.

ok
I am a little lost now, it seem as some of the member here thinks that it is a hybrid between the two. The problem I am having is that I cant seem to find the spindle for the IV head they only list the spindle for the V.

Also on closer inspection it appears as thought their is a deviation in color. one part look black and the other looks blue. Who knows...

I am beginning to believe that the two are one in the same. Please can you clarify before I go and purchase the wrong spindle.

Thanks.
