I've built a portable charging station that I am working to improve. I've recieved some great advice on improvements and potential safety issues. This has prompted me to start this thread to see how other folks are charging their batteries and potential setups with multiple chargers, power supplies, generators, electric connectors and safety solutions. It would be great to get fresh ideas for folks who may be just going electric and want to know more about how to safely set up a battery charging station. A picture is worth a thousand words so let's see some cool ideas.

I'll go first. As most have seen on another thread. My station is as follows

Dual I chargers 250W and 350W are way more than my 11A powersupply can handle (thanks guys for pointing that out to me) so will have to upgrade eventually.

Industrial strength velcro is extremely effective at holding chargers and batteries to the 8$ TV tray. And hold batteries firmly to the stand in case of a mishap.

Things to do next:
1. I'll add a handle on the edge by the power supply for easy transport to and from field.
2. Upgrade power supply
3. Add a roman tile to the surface where the batteries are to prevent my tray from burning up in case of lipo fire.

I thought electrics were supposed to save you from having to haul a bunch of gear to the field.

NO just saves on wiping off goo from helis, tuning engines, replacing glow plugs, inconsistant runs, fuel running everywhere etc.

I'll take the carrying bag of lipos and charging station

Here is my portable charging box. Makes for a compact, organized package. 24V/1800W capable.

That's a monster power supply! Where did you get that and how much power does it put out?

It is a 1000w 13.8v power supply that puts out 78amps. Now I need to up the output to 24-28v. But, that will make 1010s unusable.

Can't use more than what, 18V for a TP1010C?

Your power supply doesn't have a 12V tap?

Thanks, TheWoodCrafter

That one is 13.8v and works well with 2 820s and 2 1010s. But, 820s are working 1/2 as hard at 13.8v.
