Do u need to use only one magnet or two, as I believe that the Vibe50 clutch bell has two groves in it for the magnets . Wouldn't a single magnet imbalance it? Just a quick question

Some may insist on using two magnets, but most only use one. I've always used one and never had a problem. Our glow engines are inherently unbalanced to begin with.

One magnet. If you're fussed about it, fill the other hole with a bit of epoxy or JBWeld.Andy

I've never bothered to fill/use any second hole but if I did, I'd go w/ JBweld and/or a sliver of lead flybar weight and epoxy.

Will the spektrum ar7100r sensor work with the ATG V3 governor?
What's the difference between the characteristics of the ar7100 sensor and using the atg magnet and sensor.
WiLl appreciate, If u can just brief me out the functions and differences.

Oh, and frankly, don't buy the "flat curve" B/S that some folks promote . . . You *MUST* have a valid, flyable, curve under pretty much any gov to both get the best performance, and to survive a gov failure. Both the ATG and Multigov have modes that watch the curve and react in advance to throttle advances . . . with a flat curve, you lose that capability, and are far more likely to see a headspeed sag with violent changes.
Actually, the "flat curve" BS works just fine, no throttle curve needed with a limiter. Even the MGP works better in 3D limiter mode with one of those "flat curve" BS thingys but that's me so the hype that a governor is the best isn't necessarily true either.

The Throttle Max gives you the best of both worlds.

TMoore -

Note the words "Flat Curve" "BS" and "Gov" in the same sentence . . .

Obviously, I wasn't referring to a limiter . . . had you taken time to read the comment . . .

ATG v3 for me on my helis. I've had good performance with the Multigov 2.0 too(haven't tried the pro). For me the ease of use, and great head holding ability of the ATGv3 is awesome.Randy!!! I am the liquor

Tim, I tried that on the MGP and didn't notice any difference in the amount of overspeeding versus flatlining it. The MGP works better in limiter mode so I kept it as a back up gov. IMHO, once the gov is in control, it's in control no matter what the curve says do.

Until the gov throws a magnet, the gov drops offline, and you overspeed and blow the head apart . . .

No thanks, the risks just aren't worth the trivial work required to run a proper curve. You said it yourself - you couldn't see the difference in operation, so at the very least, having a flyable config in case of a gov failure should be reason enough to run a curve . . .

Like you said you can run a curve but either way makes no difference in performance that I can see, in the case of the MGP, it will still overspeed regardless. The only way I could get mine to work as well as a RevMax was to put it in limiter mode. Even if I were to lose a magnet, you can tell real fast when that happens and as long as you keep the head loaded, there won't be a problem with overspeeding.

+1 MultiGov : just works, easy to program to your liking with one LCD for all your helis.
-1 Align : requires optical tach to get the headspeed right. Then mine died. To be replaced with MultiGov.

I love my 7100R...one less thing to mount and was simple to setup. I run the 'flat curve' thing because everyone else is doing it and because it works for me.Chris. AMA 497715 IRCHA 3351
