A large bottle of alcohol to spray the snot out of it at the field would do you wonders. It dries fast, breaks down nitro and doesn't leave a residue to drip in your car. Those cases are alot of money when all you need to do is go to the fabric store and pick up some cordura and some vinyle and make one to suit your needs.

I do use alcohol and a spray bottle but what are the odds you clean it all, everytime, please add in human factor, also the amount of time and energy it would take me to make a case would cost a lot more. Tracking down sewing machine and templates and materials, cutting and sewing materials and all for a poor replica in all likely hood, for I am no seemstress. I will have to pass on the homemade version. I would be better off just getting a duffle bag, however I cant find one of those big enough either.

Thank you everyone for your input. Brian over at Ready heli took another leap forward in customer service by contacting the gentleman who makes the Heliguard cases and was able to convince him to pull out the old Vibe 50 templates and build me a one off case. The case is everything I expected it to be and fits perfectly. My hat is off to Brian at Ready Heli for taking time out of his schedule and going above and beyond what was expected.
