It has been in my experience that the venerable 9252 servos can take the 6V but not for long. I've always used a regulator to step it down a bit.Ray Fernandez - GUAM

I ran them at 6v with no issues, for the price the 9252 is one of the most durable and reliable servos made. GREAT servo! Depending on your setup a 4.8v pack is not a god idea in todays heli's. I would recommend a 7.4v lipo/ 6v regulator setup.

THanks...Thats where I was heading Battery wise .But if the Servos can't take a constant 6v regulated ..I'd be in a jam... I'm not that familiar with the Futabas as I mostly fly a different Brand..

I have been running 9252's at 6v regulated for 3 years and many gallons of fuel with no problems.6 volts regulated through your set up will not harm it.

A decent, fresh 4 cell nicad will push out 6 volts.
