Me and Kramer in the same boat here in Laporte. Looking at the weather report for next week shows some sun and near 40 degree temps so maybe we'll get rid of some of this snow. For pete's sake......tomorrow is the first of March so there's gotta be a break in this crap soon!".........said the joker to the thief"

Its been too hot to fly here, for the last god knows how long temps rangeing from 37 - 42.

Really frustrateing, in Summer here as soon as the wind goes away the temp goes through the roof, not good for electrics.

I think flying electrics above 35 degrees is asking for trouble, flying in 40 is just insane, even if you dont fry your lipo you will end up frying your brain.

We hit 44°C every summer here. All you need is a Manly Man's Hat and yer fine -- just ask Alan Sr.

Im just worried about motors catching fire, cant say Ive ever had a motor burn up on the hot days I have flown though, maybe just being too paranoid.

I worry alot about machines in the hot weather, I worry about my car and my RC helis, and just recently Ive been worrying alot about my new 50" plasma getting too hot, I live in a rental place so I cant put in an air conditioner.

You're pushin' 42°C (106°F) and you have no AC??

You have my deepest sympathies.

Time to find a new address!

Its dropped down to 35 today, then low 30`s for a few days, hopeing thats the last of summer for this year.

Its the beggining of Autum, best time of the year for flying here, think Im going to try a 450 size heli this flying season.

This was me messing around with the 450 at my club field. Temps in the 50's, very little wind. We opened the field two months early due to lack of snow. There was still three feet of snow on the ground this time last year.
