Pinion, headspeed, speed controller question
I have stock motor, Phoenix 80, 13 tooth pinion, 12 degrees pitch. I get about 2800 at spool up but head speed drops as voltage drops. I tried the governor Set rpm mode but it oscillates so I am at 100% flat now. Should i go up to 14 tooth to get a little better midflight performance?

I also noticed when it spools up and gets to full speed it will oscillate once then seems to stabilize.

I am at low timing and 8mhz pulse width, maybe try outrunner mode and some more timing?

Thanks
