Vibe 50 part number
Hi guys,

I was wondering if anyone knows the part number of the bearing that's used in the clutch bell assembly of the Vibe 50? I don't see it in the manual as a separate part.

Thanks,
G

why not just heat the bell as required and remove it, measure it and get a replacement from a local bearing supplier?

Plus, I don't think we have any good bearing suppliers here in the desert.

I had a hard time finding the smaller bearing. The larger one is the same bearing as the 3 main shaft bearings and were easy to find. I finally gave up and bought the whole bearing block with bearings and it was about a couple of dollars more than buying the 2 bearings individually.

10x5x3.........
Are you sure about that dimension ?

If you look at the Airskipper50 manual (which shares parts with the V50) it shows the bearing part number to be 981028 which is 10x5x4.

If you are talking about the bearing in the bell itself, I couldn't get it from any suppliers, though I didn't call Horizon. So I bought a new bell which included the bearing. I will sometime remove it and go to a local bearing shop I frequent.
The bearing block above the bell which the pinion and starter shaft run thru are: # JRP981025 upper bearing and # JRP 981005 lower bearing. I couldn't get a replacement upper bearing either so I bought the whole assembly for $23.69 which was about $2 more than just the two bearings if available. I had waited for 2 months and gave up and just bought the whole assemblies.
