450 Sport Wobble gone! Tail problem now
Hello, All

I just put together a NIB 450 Sport set it all up and on the test flight while hovering the airframe wobbles???

I thought it was low head speed so I up'd the throttle curve it wobbled more

I loosened the blade grips, checked the main and feathering shaft all is good, checked the tracking of the main blades & paddles its good also

flybar is centered and the paddles are even

what should I check next????

When you say you up'd the headspeed, what do you mean. Sounds like low headspeed from your description. Try 100% straight across in idle up and see how that is. Betcha that solves the problem. There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness."

the throttle curve was 25-50-75-100 I tried I tried 35-45-75-100 and it was worst,

what should head speed be on the Sport version?

Edit: I just up'd the throttle to 0-65-95-100 make it much worst seams the higher the head speed the faster the wobble gets

fwiw..

Sounds like a balancing issue..Did you check the balance on the head and blades?

Make sure the main blades aren't tight, the blades are allready tight going in the grips on the sport. When you put the blades in the grips there pretty much tight enough with out making the bolt/nut tight.Try running the mains a little loose and see what happens..600LE,OS55,OS PowerBoost pipe,Align 610's,Spartan

Well I thought head speed was fine but I checked and have it about 2800rpm's wobble gone (450se v2 is not as loud that why I though it was high enough)

the tail is moving back and forth kinda shakes, I have some of the servo wires running over the top of it its a tight fit might be putting some slight pressure on the gyro can that be the problem? the foam pad is not squished

I have it all centered, if I turn the gain down the tail don't hold well when I give or take power from the head when its turned up the shake gets worst its set to +34 (using the gear channel) the servo arm ball is right around 7mm from center (installed in the middle hole on the arm)
