Converting a Logo 500 DX to a stretched 600
I could get a 500 dx for fairly cheap.

Could I convert it to a stretched 600 without spending too much, or would it be so expensive that it's not worth it?

I don't mind the carbon tailcase , if the stock plastic case can accept the longer boom required to run the 690s blades. And I probably can live with the plastic swashplate for now.

What parts would need to be upgraded? I'm thinking of the tailboom, belt, grips, main gear, and tail rotor. Am I forgetting something?

Thank you!

You'd probably need to run the aluminum swash on a .90 sized Logo.. Especially a flybarless one.

You'd need the Logo 600 CF tail case, as there is no plastic option there. You'd need a new tail rotor as I believe the 500DX one is somehow not as good as the normal one? I recommend the Quick UK tail grips. You'd need a stronger rotorhead, so you'd need to buy the main grips and all of the bearings, shims and bolts that go with them. You'd also need the Logo 600 feathering shaft to go with your new grips. I'd also suggest the hardened hollow main shaft.

Finally, you'd need a longer boom (Raptor 90 works), longer belt, and a new tail control rod. All cut to the proper length, of course.

It's not THAT much. Probably would cost you about $150'ish, with about $75 of that going into the swash.

Maybe someone else more knowledgeable about every detail could jump in and fill in any bad or missing information from me.. I tried to be accurate ;x
