To Radikal or wait?
I really like the "gasser" aspect of the Radikal since I own a MA Spectra-G. I'm good on the SIM but still have the dork moments where I'm still crashing. I'm thinking of getting the Radikal to bridge that gap between my Protos and Spectra-G. Am I thinking right in getting the Radikal as a "in between" heli for the Spectra-G? I don't have all the nitro feild equipment to buy a nitro (Trex 600 or the new Raptor 50x) and I like the lower cost for fuel for a gasser. I can fly all day long on the sim so I'm wondering if the Radikal would be the right choice for me to bridge that gap between the Protos and Spectra-G? Any feedback would be appreciated! Thanks!

I was flying mainly nitro helis before I got the Spectra G, a Raptor 50 Titan and a Fury Expert 60. Once I got the Spectra I occasionally flew the Fury, the Raptor not at all, it was SO much easier to fly all day with the gas powered heli.

Then I got the Radikal, now I don't fly the nitros at all, and the Spectra sees an occasional flight, but it's not my heli of choice anymore. The Radikal to me is the perfect bridge between gassers and the nitro helis. Yeah it's got a couple warts, build quality is not up to the level of the Spectra, but that doesn't lessen its abilities in any way, and setup with the 6.9 gearing and fast servos the performance is beyond my ability to use it all

With already having a Spectra-G I'm not too concerned about a larger Radikal to follow at this point. I'm wanting a "50 Size" heli and with the release of the Radikal G20 and it being a "gasser" what interest me.

I say, why not get one? Even if you do crash, the replacement parts are inexpensive, so why not. Ray Fernandez - GUAM

rccarguy could not have said it better.... The only thing you should do is get a modified 21 cc hyper from Wally. You will think your flying a nitro

I thought the Predator, would be the Radicals big Bro ! I think they just broke some new ground with the Radical.
This is a big leap for Gasser's. To go bigger is a little pre mature.

I just finished building a new Radikal LT Carbon. It is sweet and worth every penny. My advice, GET ONE!! It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

I'm in!
There is no dought that I'm going to get one! I love gassers and the Radikal fits my wants! I will order one in the next few days. I'm thinking I'm going to go with the LT head with the G10 frame Radikal. Cheaper repair cost as far as the frame and also cheaper to repair then my Spectra-G. Everything else will fall into place. Can't wait! Good times!

Thanks for the completed pictures Raja. I am just now starting to put the electronics on mine. Not in a real big hurry, there is still 6 inches of snow on the ground The last thing I need to do is decide on what batteries to run. It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!
