The Wall
Even if I had a SIM, I still would need to know the real answer

Well, I have been stuck on some sort of move with my helicopter. I'm able to get into a real fast tail slide in fast forward flight, and have no idea what to do once the manuver is over. I have tried repeateadly to bring the heli backwards while maintaining the same oriontation, but extremly unsuccseful at this point. Once I try to bring it back in reverse, the heli is going straight down hard and fast.

I guess I need to bring it back to me, so while the nose is straight up in the air, and I want to bring it backwards, back across the flight field, do I need to stay at a negetive collective pitch while pulling back on the elevator?

I have been sliding down, tail first, looking at the top of the helicopter, then half rolling on the way down and pulling up backwards, inverted.Team KBDD/Compass Team Manger/Experience RC/Team JR Americas/WR Field Rep

flying fast forward, flipping the nose straight up, tail down, slide forward. When I try to bring it back in the same manner, the heli wants to eat dirt.

Brian, the maneuver you're describing sounds like the Wall.
I'm prtetty sure a tailslide is when the heli is descending vertically {sliding} with the boom pointing straight at the ground.

When you pull out of the tail slide, push up on the cyclic and give it positive pitch at the same time.Enough positive to stop the heli from hitting the deck and enough forward cyclic to level it out.You really need to be good a backwards flight before trying them,if the tail lets go or you give the wrong input things will get bad very fast.600LE,OS55,OS PowerBoost pipe,Align 610's,Spartan

I always thought with a tail slide you are coming tail first towards the ground at 0 pitch, and you give some forward elevator while increasing positive pitch until leveling out, still flying backwards.

I replyed before he did and your right, hes talking about doing wall's haha.Oops..

When doing a wall in forward flight you pull back on cyclic and give neg pitch allmost at the same time, when the heli is about stright up/down snap forward on pitch and let the cyclic stick center (same time)..

That's how I do them just like Jason and usually enough level backward flight speed to do a backward roll.
