What regulators do you lot use.
I want a reg for a t-rex and a fury which are both running align 610 servo`s and a 401 gyro . I will be running a gov aswell and want to run a 1900 2cell lipo.

I was using an Align 2-in-1 regulator up to a week ago.

Replaced that with a ReactorX.

The forward speed of the Vibe 90SG INCREASED by more than 10% due to the fact that the servos now have better control over the blades.

10/10 for the ReactorX

I have got Arizona's, 2in1's and some native Switchmodes
Plus
A Dualsky VR-8L, which is the latest acquisition.
It has dual Input/Output and for the money, can't be beat.
Mine runs a 50 FBL heli with Inolab 761MG servos.
This one would be the pick of the bunch, unless you run some serious loaded servos like 8717's on a 90 size FBL heli.

Dualsky VR8L, 8amp rated, 10a burst.
Linear reg, voltage adjustable from 4.8v to 7.6v.
Good size heat sink.
Dual battery input AND output.
This way it can actually deliver a decent amp rating while using small servo connectors.
I have been using these for the last 2 years, without incident.
Quite a few local pilots use them as well.
Never seen one returned for warranty.
Cheap at about $45AU.

You will also find the exact same reg, with a different color heat sink, and a Flightech lable on it.
That one costs $10 more lol.

Fromeco KIWI and Arizona
I use Fromeco KIWI and Arizona
I use the KIWI to provide my swashservos with 8V
and the Arizona to provide 4-6 (8) volt to the swashservo.

Looks good, but not a lot of info.
Who is the manufacturer?
At the minimum, I would test it with a variable P.Supply to see if it comes up to spec.
It's certainly cheap enough.

Fromeco Sahara single output adjustable reg set at 6V with a step down for the t/r servo.

Fromeco makes a seriously good, high quality reg.

Perfect Regulators CCPM Adjustable Voltage Regulator
Hi
Any one used the Perfect Regulators CCPM Adjustable Voltage Regulator
or any of the Perfect Regulator units>

Trying to find a good CCPM regulator to take the load off the RX.

I have seen some of you are using the Scott Gray REACTOR X2 Multi Output Regulator.. Is it worth the money?

regards
ken

that commonsenserc regulator looks *exactly* like the previous incarnation of the 'The Regulator' by Fromeco (the unit before the Sahara) for 1/2 the price. Wonder if they bought or reverse-engineered the design from Fromeco.

I generally use that Fromeco or the Sahara or some no longer made Smart-Fly units.

Oh, research shows those commonsenserc units to be made by Maxx Products (their MK3 unit). see maxxprod.com
