Lube it Up
Hyperion 3025-10 turn
I was told I need to greese my Brushless motor bearings about every 3 runs or so. This seems a bit exsessive to me. Am I wrong?

Also, how do you lube these mystery bearings?

Told by whom? Hyperion motors have sealed bearings, unlike Scorpion ones. As such, the bearings in the Hyperion aren't that easy to reach. Oiling the Scorpion motors isn't pleasant already, but greasing the hard-to-reach bearings in the Hyperion motors? Forget it.

If your motor has sealed bearings and no grease fittings, greasing them will be impossible. If your motor has open bearings, it certainly wouldn't hurt to put a drop of lithium grease in them periodically.

Got the owner's manual for it? if the manual says lube it, then lube it. if the manual says don't lube it, then dont lube it. if the manual is vague, call the MFR.
