No quite, the one I have in a plank has 32oz and flys for five mins but would fly for seven.

turbines are for moving heavy things.

BLDC motors have exceptional PTW ratios in light things (even light things like 50 size helis)...we are talking thousands of watts (as you all know).

seems like a novelty to build a small turbine....very counter intuitive

Yes indeed that is cool.

I fired my EVO Jet Booster up for the first time last night and nearly lost my hearing at 121,600 rpm.
It was worth it.
Chad , the importer at sin city jets helped me through the process.
I cannot tell you how helpfull he is and dedicated to the hobby. Never met him but talked with him a few times and he is more than willing to help"the new guy" out in the engines and jets.
This being my first turbine ....I was pointed in the direction of Jet Cat, wich I am sure are top notch. But this little booster 160 is remarkable. Where jet cat has exposed EGT and Kero plug....there is nothing on the outside of the engine. All is hidden.
Single fuel start and single fuel line into the turbine. And all three boosters are made that way.
Not to mention...it spools up so fast its unbelieveable.
I think even if I was'nt gonna get a Viper to put this in I would have bought it for the awe factor.

Maybe I'll get the video of the startup on the web.

Gary.
