you don't understand. Finnegan
It rarely ever snows in south Texas. And when it does whole cities shut down for snow day. We just do not have the equipment down here to clear that little bit of snow. And not enough snow fall to justify buying any. But this is Texas. The weather was in the mid 70's over the last weekend and now we are in a winter warning alart. Be back to normal soon.

"OMG, come to Montreal and I'll show you some snow!"

I guess they should have had the Olympics there rather than Vancouver where they had to truck in snow. (just making a lame joke) We got just enough to cover the yard now its gone back to business as usual here.

I went to school in El Paso. I remember getting a snow day called and having all the snow melted by 10am

Here in Nebraska we've had over an inch of snow on the ground continuously since the first week of December. Tonights low will be below zero.

Snow in Texas?
I watched that youtube video and we call that "spitting" snow here in the northeast. You wanna see a blizzard come 1500 miles northward. That's no blizzard!

This winter has been a bit different. Last winter I was able to fly almost every weekend. I actually learned to fly planes over the winter. Although it has gotten better, I've been able to fly the last couple weekends. A bit windier than I'd like though.

Yup. this is global warming. Last year my pool froze. It was historic. I guess we'll have to increase taxes to solve this issue. In fact, tax increases are the solution to old age as well.....Lord hear our silent prayers to Thee

Thank God we haven't had snow here, but its been cold. I moved here from Tulsa to get away from the winter nastiness, no way I would move back.

Tulsa has the best of both worlds. Its bitter bone chilling cold in the winter plus enough ice and snow to make driving a challenge. In the summer its a few hundred degrees hotter than the surface of the sun.

Yep, same here. We've had an unusualy cool summer this last year though. Only got to 100 a couple times. I'd like to go back to Colorado where the winter is warmer and the summer is cooler.

I don't know much about the global warming issue, but I mentioned the same things as here to friends, and they all said something about the cooling spell we're having is a precurser to the actual warming. Don't know, just relaying what I was told.
