Setup info for 4G6
If your heli is new it should of came with a owner's manuel which will give you basic setup information on revers, gyro, throttle and pitch curves ect. to get you going and then you can customize it to your flying style. If you don't have owner's manuel or want I'll be glad after work to supply you with my setup and also in the Walkera section there is a tread where I had inquired about setup when I purchased my 4G6.

Thanks

Hi Dizzy

i saw that no one had gotten back to him with an answer , and posted those numbers for him as a starting point

i have the pitch response reduced with my pitch curves , regards

EDIT:
Dizzy brings up a good point i hadn't thought of before , my swash screen settings are at default settings , and i had tuned down the pitch and cyclic with the pitch curves and D/R , i usually don't do it this way , on my other machines i have just tuned them down in the swash screen and pitch curve screens , which is probably easier

so disregard my swash screen settings posted above , and start with say

swash screen
aile 60
elev 60
pitch -60

and understand this is just a starting point , you will want to tune them up or down to the style of flying you do
.

Hi Markus
no worries , after reading your first post , i looked back at my settings , and was doing the old "HUH? " thing as i thought for sure i had reduced the cyclic , as i like the cyclic response pretty soft

and this is when i saw that i had left the swash screen at default , and gone in and reduced cyclic with D/R , and collective with pitch curve

now i haven't done it this way in years and was surprised i had set it up like this , i am thinking i did it that way while at the field and meant to redo it , but never got back to it

so i started with a new model memory and set all the reverse switches the same and then used just swash screen settings and the pitch curves to achieve the same results

it is interesting with the computer radios , there are a couple of different ways to get the same results , and of coarse we will have different settings based on flying ability ( nube , sport , 3D ) and everyone prefers slightly different setting based on personal preferences anyways

i think the best help we are giving him , are the reverse switches and that the pitch setting in the swash menu has to be set to negative

one thing i see that we do different is the rate mode in the gyro sense screen , i was treating it like a Futaba 401 , where the rate setting is 0 ~ 50 and the HH setting is 50 ~ 100 , i will mess around and try what you are doing

when i was setting up the gyro , i had set the HH mode to 75 for starters , and had a bad wag , so popping it down a few points at a time till the wag was gone gave me 65

hopefully posting both our settings and our conversation on settings will help skagroove to sort his out

regards
