Is anyone using 6s setups in Logo 600?
Can I put the 6s setup from my Trex 600 into a Logo 600? I have 6s Hyperion 35c 5000 mAh packs, Neu motor, CC 85HV esc, and Radix 600 blades. I want to go fbl and thought I'd like to go with the Logo 600 and Vbar over the Aign setup. Just for fun!

It's possible to transfer everything over on your existing setup with exception of the motor. I'm assuming your using a 1515 2.5d which is 1650kv. Since the gear ratio of the Logo and the Trex are different that motor won't work. For 6S you really want something in the 1100KV range with a Logo. A good choice would be the Scorpion 4025-1100.

That said, while a 6S L600 will fly better than a T600, the real "smile maker" on 6S is a Logo 500/500SE running 550mm blades. Your talking the same wattage, spinning slightly smaller blades, and a full 1.25lbs lighter. Basically it's a rocket ship. I never flew my Trex600E again after getting one. The Logo 500 uses the same frame and drive train as the Logo 600.

Here is a pic of Matrosek's Logo 600 next to a Logo 500SE (553mm blades). As you can see they are very close in size. The 500SE is actually the same size as a Trex600 while the Logo600 is quite a bit larger. The Logo600 is halfway between the size of a Trex 600 and Trex 700.

Yeah the scorpion 4025-1100 with hyps 35's will give you awesome power, i run mine with 600's on the same setup but amp draws are too high for the cc 85 (120 amps on pitch pumps alone) so either go for jive 100 lv with heatsink or look at the 890 kv scorpion with mod 1 gear. My friends run the 890 in their rex's with good results, I had one in mine for a while and it makes good power with much lower amp draws.
I dont know the cc but i have to recommend the jive for the BEC as well since flybarless draws more amps and jive can handle 15amps so you dont need external bec (weightsaving)
Or if you can match gear ratios with your motor you will have more power as well +_ 20 % with vbar plus better pwr/weight
Common sense may not be common after all

Well thank you all, I read all the threads and see this is a common subject and I have all the answers to make a decision. I think I will not be doing the Logo fbl as with either 6s or 10s, Logo 600 or 500, I would still need another motor and esc. If I go that route I would just as soon go 10s and 600. But it all adds up to too much dinero for me now. Nice heli though!

Actually all you'd need is likely a different motor really. The 600 on 6S still blows the doors off of a T-Rex 600 though. Best of luck to you sir! ...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

I've been considering a 6s L600 setup as well; Scorpion 4025-1100, CC Phoenix Ice 100. I fly sport and soft 3d, so I'm leaning towards 14T+600mm blades over 15T and 550mm.

It looks like amp draw goes up as voltage goes down so it is either a new higher rated esc or a new battery. One thing about the 10s setup that really got my attention is flight times. The best thing about my nitro heli is the 8 min flight time. 4-5 min goes by awfully quick. It would appear that is a real benefit of the larger batteries. one could probably buy a 4s pack to combine with the 6s too...
