Way to big, you need about a 30 amp esc for a 450 size machine. I'd go 35amp if it were me...

Indoor plumbing??? No, we don't need that!!!

Radio
Just my 2 cents, stay away from the Dx6i and try for a Dx7 with the 6ch radio you are very limited and the Dx6i has problems, the Dx7 is a great starter radio and it has room to grow with you plus it is a great radio and the SE version is even better. When starting out and if you can afford it start with the best you can get with the funds you have, in this hobby you will get what you pay for.

If you want a cheap, extremely stable, and pretty much 100% compatible to a Trex 450. You should get the EXI 450 CF from xheli.com. Plus one more thing the shipping is about 70% cheaper than hobbyking and alot faster. The 450 at xheli goes for about $77 USD. Or you can go for a EXI 500 CF (i am not 100% sure, but I think) for $129. Both carbon fiber. For the TX definetely a DX7, for the RX an ar6200 or ar7000 both with remote rx. For the gyro I highly recommend a Futaba GY401 or higher. For the ESC depends you motor, but you can never go wrong with at least 35a w/BEC for any 450's helis align motors. On my 450 I have an align 430xl and runs great. For collective servos I recommend Hi-tech 65MG it have metal gears last longer the tge 65HB that are made out of plastic and for the tail servo Futaba 9650. You can get great deal buying used electronics right here in RR. I hope it helps

When looking at their products, make sure they ship to your location. The speed controller you are looking at doesn't ship to Canada. That one is located in a German warehouse and only ships to Europe.Trex 700E / Trex 500 ESP - Ikon/ HD 500 - Ikon 2/ Goblin 500 Ikon 2
