Mikado has just returned from the International Toy Fair in Nuremberg where they had the opportunity to present the new 2010 products to members of the industry.

Now here is the news you have been waiting for since the announcment of the new 2010 line of Mikado products.
The approximate... delivery times of these new items are as follows.

• LOGO 600 SE April 2010
• LOGO 400 Carbon May 2010
• LOGO 500/600 Carbon Chassis May 2010
• VBar Plug and Play April 2010
• Governor and Logfile Software mid 2010

There is much talk about the new LOGO 700. This model is still under development. They plan to bring it into the market in the second half of 2010.

that would work too, but then you have to wait longer. i'm sure the 600se might would be an easy conversion, if you run 600mm, you can consolidate packs too like i did.

lastly and most importantly, i would be jealous if you got the 700

I hope when they come out with a 700 that its more beefy than a stretched 600.. IMO a high-powered 700 needs a 12mm main shaft, beefier frames, and a stronger tail (minimally)

Love the logo600 but even on that the frames seem to break in even the smallest of crashes. 12mm main shaft will allow for beefier main bearings (and, heck.. i bend even 12mm main shafts in flight sometimes (during hard 3d) on nitro .90 helis which is going to be less power than a high powered electric)

just my thoughts...

The reason the 700 is not out as we all want it now, ME included is this.... It is and will be an entirely different heli from Mikado. It will have allot of what you know and are used to seeing from Mikado. Rest assured it is taking time as Ralph wants to ensure this is and will be the 700 Electric to beat, I am willing to bet it is going to kick some serious A$$. I am as anxious as all of you but we must be patient, I have to tell myself this every night before bed.

BTW I have found the new 500-600 frame designs to be quite crash resilliant to be truthfull, my main 600 has suffered 5 crashes on its own, a bit of jb weld here and there but it is still kicking! Main shafts..the 10mm Mikado hardened main shaft is MUCH stronger then Aligns 12mm main shaft I can tell you this much as well.

Conclusion it will be made for big power, not to worry!!!

If they find issues they will postpone, one thing is certain, when its released its ready for the public.

and not for the public to become beta-testers which some utilizes as a business strategy.

I will buy this one over the Rave ENV no questions asked. I really dont even have to see pictures.

Mikado is the closest to perfection out of all the manufactures I believe.

Mikados are nice heli's i dont believe the closest to perfection as that honors will have to go to henseleit's TDR imop, which brings me to the issue i hope mik will adress with the 700. They should get rid of the seperate swashdriver and incorporate it in a very low profile head ala tdr.
T/tube with mod 1 gears, incorporated counter bearing mount for motor, and some nice VISIBLE and affordable canopies. I sincerely hope it's not gonna be an overgrown 600 as that will be the dissapointment of the year!
Waiting waiting......!

i agree about the headblock, i'd like it to be one piece as well. I hate lining that thing up, i'm always worried it will be slightly off, and i know you can compensate with the software, but i'd rather have a solid one, set the software compensation once, and on every subsequent teardown of the head know the phase is dialed in.

As far as being an overgrown 600, i hope it kind of is. Everyone who has done a 600-700 stretch has been very happy, and the only complaints are some of the headparts (bladegrips, bladebolts, etc) and possibly main shaft are a bit weak for a 700. I'd love to see them size it up just a hair, but keep it close to 600 size because i think that would still be a beefy 600 with a phenominal power to weight ratio. I looked at the rave env and trex 700e conversion but in the end, i think the logo 700 will be superior due to the fact its will be just as precise and poweful, yet weigh 1 or more pounds less.

just my opinion.
