FYI: Elite Vet status
Im sure you guys know this but I just thought id mention.
You might see that I am listed as an Elite vet. So are many others.
The only thing that means is, I have more than a few posts.
I assure you that I AM NOT an elite pilot.
Why bring this up?
Being a good typist with time does not qualify me or anyone. Answers to questions should be taken with a grain of salt and always verified thru other sources and/or thru multiple members/multiple posts. Conflicting info is pretty standard here. Make your judgments on the weight of multiple sources and the majority of OPINIONS posted.
Just good practice.
RIP ROMAN

The opposite is true as well, there's a number of excellent pilots that don't post much and often get blown off because of low post counts.Andy

A wise person would let somebody else say that about them. It caries a bit more weight that way.

I totally agree w/ BH. and that plays to my point.
Without some frame of reference its impossible to know the real skill/knowledge level of any given responder and w/o that its risky to follow the advise given. Some of the questions/issues could turn out to be pretty important to your safety and your helis longevity.
Good research, comprehensive understanding of a lot of things are important.

Dont take any ONE persons words as law or truth. Look for the consensuses.

I like the guys that talk about radio set up and how to fly inverted, do 3D etc. but in real life can't hardly hover You definately need to be careful when doing things until you get a lot of the same answers from more than one member. I have always had great success with information on here. Everybody is really willing to help as much as they can It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

You can still use the rating system. If someone has a really high rating/post count and they are fairly new, you are usually better off waiting on more advice

FBoss excellent post.

And yet another useless response by VooDooX.

To hover is divine, the alternative is rather PLANE.
