nice looking heli indeed. the only thing that lets it down is those UC legs, has anyone tried an align set on it? the UC legs look too thin and don't suit the rest of the heli imo.
I will put on some Vibe 50 struts I am having around. Low profile look fits way better. I remember MA´s 90 prototype using the low Stratus tuff struts. Very sexy.

I put a set of Align landing struts on it and it actually made the heli look alot better not to mention the Align struts are stronger too

rstacy,

Most likely coming from your tail rotor drive pinion.
If my memory is correct I think you have to move the pinion forward a smidge.

On the Fury 55 how do I move the tail drive pinion??

Thanks for your help.

Rich
Rich,
Sorry. My mistake. In my cluttered mind I merged your post with all of the gear mesh comments right before your post.

rstacy,

thanks for your help. What is the ideal head speed for the Fury 55 with the OS .55 for idle up 2 (3D) and Idle up 1 just sport flying?
If you not breaking it your not trying hard enough

Kyle and the OS 55 seem to like 1850 and 2150.

I want to point out that it is very important not overspeed the rotorblades you are using. Most blade manufacturers give a "do not exceed" rpm limit on the packaging.

I have found that 1900 in normal, and 2150 in idle up is where my Fury 55 performs best.

This looks like a great machine IMO, everything I owned that was Min Air was of fantastic quality and never gave issue. I look forward to users vids on this heli for sure! ...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...
