May 1st it's on like Donkey Kong!

There will be lots of rafle prizes, food and flying for everyone.

We will have a different layout from last year and should be able to accomodate even more parking.

The field is currently under construction and will be looking great in time for the event.

Hope to see everyone there!

I'm gonna be there...
...unless I'm moving my daughter out of her dorm at FSU. Seriously, I think we'll have her out on Friday. Y'all will let me fly a little F3C?

Regards,
Cliff

Hoping to have my one-and-only heli ready for this one since I missed Melbourne, but I'll probably just roam around and hoover up E-knowledge since I've been out of the hobby for a little while. May not be ready for flying at a fun fly yet.

There is no pressure to fly at at Fun Fly, hence the name FUN FLY!

We encourage everyone to come out wether you want to fly or not, there will be World Champion FAI pilots there as well as XFC competitors and a wide variety of pilots of EVERY level to offer help, support and tips.

It doesn't matter if you have flown for 20 years or 20 minutes, come out, do your best and ask some questions. These events are not so much about flying as they are for sharing ideas and knowledge.

Hope to see you there with your helicopter!

Hey is there any way that Bert can get a cable for the 3G system this way we can do firmware updates at the field for those of us that have the 3G system? I will bring my lap top I don’t mind.

So much effort was made with this system and no cable? Someone needs think this thru at research and development next time….

Where's Top Gun?
Lakeland Linder airport. FrankTiano.com It's the event that got me into all this. I went to my 1st one, loved the sights, the sounds, the smell of the nitro and the things people were talking about. I called my wife & told her I found my hobby! Haven't looked back since. Andy

The club is getting another new canopy, more tables and are getting ready to manicure the field. We are expecting upwards of 100 pilots for this Mini-Blowout.

We suggest that you arrive early and secure your spot as well as register.

Esprit Model is donating some killer prizes and plenty of Gift Certificates and we also expect others to be donating prizes as well.

Once I hear from those shops I will get everything listed here on RR. If you would like to donate something to the Mini-Blowout please shoot me a PM and let me know what we can count on from you.

Vendors are welcome.

Location question
Hey Mike, I was looking on the website for the location. There are two sites. It looks like the west site is where the December event was. Can you help me clarify which one I'm looking for? Looking forward to seeing you all and flying with you guys again, Andy

Flying Foot Doc, it is the west field (Winter Garden).

HeliWholesaler will be donating a kit! Not sure what kit yet, more than likely a micro, but in any case, for a one day event, we got a lot of prizes!

I have to work Friday night, and Sunday, so no I can't go anywhere.

Trying to decide if I want to go shoot pictures at Sun-N-Fun Saturday or go fly my new plank.
