Torque compensation is going the right way for sure, I checked that.

The only other thing I haven't done is rebuilt the frames/taken out main shaft/tail drive system. I will tell him about this.

I rebuilt from the swash up and all the tail case/tail rotor.

Thanks guys.

well Tech, like I said "from an idiot".
I'm waiting on a TX, then I'll be back FLYING after 15 years. I've only got experience with rate gyros from back in the 80's and early 90's, so I know I've got a learning curve ahead of me, both gyros and batts. I'm on here every day and some stuff still baffles me and probably will until I get back flying again. I know I can still fly, I'm just gonna have to learn the tech end of it all over again.
BTW - the Logos look better and better every day. GOD THEY'RE COOL!!!
PS - I'm just glad I don't have to worry about REVO mix anymore!!!

I've got a new Beam with good stuff in it now, just waiting for the TX. I'm already trying to figure out what I want next. I LOVE nitro, but those damn LOGO's are just so sweet looking. When I first started coming here, I swore off E because of batt costs, but they're steadily declining to the point I might have to rethink that for my next one.
I had a 6-7 heli fleet back then and of course they were all nitro (3 X-Cels, a Schluter, a Concept 60, a Kalt Enforcer and a Shuttle/Jet Ranger), so nitro to me is a snap.

I'd say battery prices are more than steadily declining...

For example, a year ago an Outrage 6S1P 3000 mAh 25C pack cost about $170. You can buy a similarly-sized Zippy (but "40C" and assuming that's accurate) for $55.

Add $5 to $10 per pack depending on quantity for shipping. The "premium" brands aren't as cheap, but they still cost less than a year ago -- and pack a LOT more punch (than packs from a year ago.)
