Not sure I like this look, but a thinner radio would be nice.

I like the idea, and that they are having a go at something new, but would prefer it to allow hand held and not just tray only. I used a Multiplex for a long while and got to like the euro styling and programming features.Good luck

Can you say bad design, bad design.

A couple of items that make that radio useless;

The sticks are to close to each other and in the center of the radio. you have to have two very long thumbs to operate that.

The switches, could they get them any closer together. I would like to see someone go for the throttle hold switch while flying, good luck finding it by feel. You would have to take your eyes off the aircraft, look down count the appropriate number of switches then hope you don't throw three other in the process.

That has to be something from photoshop.Old Guys Rule!

It's a tray radio guys...

If you like tray radio set-ups this might be the TX for you.

I'll stick to pinching with normal radios such as my DX7 for now

I was under the impression that Spectrum will only go up to 7 channel, and JR would go 8 channel and up.
Does anybody understand the working agreement between the 2 brands under one roof?Fly with scheduled ground contact !

Looks like this will be the European version. Apart from the UK, a large amount of Europeans (e.g. Germany) fly with "box" type radios (like this) so perhaps this is Spektrum's attempt at entering the European market? Take a look at the European 14MZ or "FX-40", I believe,...yucky (IMO)!Sponsored by CSM and QuickUK
