So far so good! This is my first attempt at a scale build and everything is going together nicely! It is a Thunder Tiger fuse and the fit and finish is nothing short of amazing! I had to modifiy the woodwork a bit to accomodate the SDX airframe, but everything fits real well. I can't wait until my light kit comes in as well as my Scale cockpit. I would like to send a special thank's to W.Freeman, Copter Doctor, and Doorman Stan for pointing me in the right direction with various questions I had. I still have quite a bit more work ahead of me , but she is getting there! Here's a few pics for you all to see what has been done to this point.

It's really starting to take shape now! I have the nav. lights and strobes all installed and they work great! I did a custom exhaust, it is a slash cut piece of alum. tubing that is out about an 1/8" from the lower part of the fuse. It really came out good. Still have a lot more to do, waiting on my landing lights and cock pit to arrive. Had a few issues with some things, but everything is coming along great as you can see. I'll post some pics of the custom landing light setup that will be done under the nose. They are going to be recessed up inside and angled at about 45 deg. with a lexan window on the bottom. Here's a few pics as she is coming along!

Here's a few pics of the cockpit so far! EVERYTHING IS GOING GOOD! The servo tray will be boxed in to cover all the wiring. Just finished the seat belts, and the diamond plate flooring. I'm going to have a custom made battery box mounted in front of the dash panel. I also finished the custom made landing light box under the nose that houses the landing lights. The peddles ,joy sticks, seatbelt system, hand throttle control, and the fire extinguisher are all hand made! I will post pics of my landing light setup soon!

Bill, you are really doing it up right.... NICE JOB.....

And as for Heli Jamb 2..... did anyone mention that with just a few more scalers showing up, this might need to become a scale only event!!!!! I fact, that is a pretty good idea guys!!!!! What do you think????? If we time it right, I know the Boston gang would make it for a nice little 2 day event!!!!!! See what you have gone and started Chuck!!!!!

I have a funny feeling we are going to be taking up a lot of pit area this year!!!!!!!Stan

And The Addiction Spreads!!!!!!!!!
Got to LOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!

Bill and Jeff, you guys have come over to the "dark side" and I know that you are going to like it a LOT!!!!!!!!!!!

I am betting that we top a dozen scale machines easily this year...

Get those test hops in and some practice flying and we will make it look like a full scale airpark!!!!!!!!!

Maybe we should take bets/ DONATIONS on how many scale machines will be there, say maybe a "buck a bet".... closest without going over wins half and the club gets the other half just for putting up with us!!!!!
