Well there sure is a lot of programming difference between the 8FG and the 7C. I was trying to setup up my rudder. I had to set the end point adjustment all the down to 33 to keep from binding out on the servo. That doesn't seem right. The 7c is set at 100 on both sides. I must have some other setting set wrong. I have been using my 7C as a reference to transfer setups over to the 8FG. Menus are way different. I am a little confused. Maybe a good night sleep will shed some new light. The radio has way more bells and whistles then the 7C. It's gonna take some thinking to get things switched over. I am setting it up on a mini titan. The gyro settings was way confusing. I know after I get it figured out I am going to love it.

Hi Coolingfan,

For rudder channel, End Point Adj only affects the piro speed !!!
the endpoint limit should be adjust through your gyro's travel limit !

I am using the futaba 401 gyro. The gyro does have the limit adjuster on it. And I have adjusted it. But it does not keep the servo from binding when I give full left rudder. When I give full left rudder I can adjust the limit pot on the gyro to not bind. But when moving the rudder stick full right the servo seems to have more travel in that direction. All mechanical arms are at 90 degrees. I am going to bind the receiver back to my 7C and see what it looks like on it.

I wish Futaba's manual would go into a litle more detail on what does what. I have never be impressed with their manuals. Examples would be nice touch! I was watching a Finless Bob video on the review of the 10C radio. I thought wow how confusing.

It's a new day. I am going to take a look at it again and see if I can figure it out!

Update, I went and did a model reset and now the tail rotor travel looks to be good to go. I have new question about pitch and throttle curve. There seems to be dual adjustments. What I mean by that is there is a set of numbers to left and right. Can some with this radio explain this to me? It appears that you can adjust both sides. What is the point of this. The manual is not clear. I it seems to affect the graph to the right when adjusting either.

the right side numbers are to adjust the 5 point curves. So say you want adjust the 25% area but its not "where" you want to adjust it. Cursor to the 25% on the right side and move the % value...say 20% or 30%.
Kinda hard to explain but do you get it?

Yes that kinda what I thought it was. Just not used to this upper end radio. It's programming is a lot different then the 7C. I am getting it figure out though. I have it setup finally on mini titan and now if it would just stop snowing. Been snowing here all day and by the looks of the forecast it not gonna stop anytime soon. I do like the run times though. According to the timer I have had the radio on for a combine time of over 3hrs. My 7C would only go for about 2.5 to 3 hrs. before needing charged. Well just waiting for better weather now. It's Superbowl sunday anyways. Go Peyton and the Colts.
