i had a msr not too long ago and got rid of it. long story short i missed it and got a new one today. right out of the box its so touchy i cant even fly it indoors. on low rate its fine. plus it wont hover untill about 3/4 stick. is this normal? my other one was alot more tame. there is no difference between the two unless my old one was low on power

i use a dx7 so i do not know how the stock radio operates. i gave my msr tons of negative expo to make it wild.

I use a Dx7 also and gave the expos positive to tame mine down. Flies awesome!

Wilder the better for outside,Spektrum DX7, Set-up in HELI mode single servo, the EXPO is, AIL -40%, ELE -60% and RUD -40%. Servo travel adjustment, AIL/RUD 100%, ELE 110%. Throttle curve, 0-35-50-75-100. The outer ball links used, CH5 on my DX7 (Normal/Idle1) turned to high rate and Throttle hold.

first was used. ive got a bunch of flights on my new one. i have got used to it and its better. but for some reason the new one is alot smoother and headspeed is higher. maybe why it feels quicker. so much fun. tried to fly my trex 250 for the first time since last year yesterday and almost crashed. the msr got my reflexes to fast. haha
