OK I just started setting up this thing today and I have run into a few problems. First I can't get this USB to connect to the Mini-v. I have the latest software and drivers. When I connect the v-bar to the computer it ask for the drivers. Everything installs just fine. The device is ready for use right! When I look at the software i see that the USB is connected but there is not connection. I have tried this on two different windows XP computers and the same thing. Do I have a defective device?

Next, I don't see much for Futaba setup on here or on the wiki. Everything is for Spectrum. Why the lack of info for Futaba? I'm flying a futaba 14mz and a Furion 450. I have a futaba fast 617FS here is how I have it setup.

Receiver
Ports
1 ----Brown
2 ----Red
3 ----Battery
4 ----orange
5 ----Blank
6 ----RX B

Power is going to the vbar!

I have my radio setup for H1 as far as non-ccpm setup.

I'm not sure if I have everything connected right. When I just try to move the sticks I get no response from the tail and the collective servo's are all wrong. Maybe there is some settings in the software but since my mini-v won't connect I can't verify. Anyone have any idea's???? Thanks

try this

Dont remember exactly choices but something like
Rightclick on "My computer", select properties, go to tab devices, select Device Manager.

Find the VBAr unit in the device manager, should probably have an ! on the icon, righ click and Update driver, choose "have disk" and browse to the driver sub dir under the installation directory C:\program files\vstabi....\vstabi driver..

i started with nothing and still got most of it left
