CCPM stands for cyclic collective pitch mixing. I like the micro CP heli's like the Blade CP and CP 2+3 but most (not all) hate them. You would probably enjoy a 450 sized CP heli more, Trex, EXI, there is alot to choose from. Easier to see, more stable, ect. Tons of opinions out there on what to get but ultimately you kinda have to figure out what you want, how big is your flying area, are you patient and so on.
I'm flying the King 3 now and have a Blade 400 I don't fly very often but use to fly an Esky CP2 and had alot of fun with it but its not a "wild 3D" machine, more of a "beater heli" Here's mine with a brushless main motor, but everything else stock.

Its supposed to be released the end of this month and from the video I saw Eflite made the SR as stable as possible for its size. The vid I saw it was hovering "hands off" You can still do alot with your FP heli before moving on to CP's such as nose-in, side-in hovering, funnels, Figure 8's, circles, if you rush into "3D tricks" you will probably crash ALOT

Here is a stock Esky CP3 video I found on YouTube. Actually appears to be pretty stable, even inverted.
