Hi,
just wanted to get a good idea on headspeed for my logo 600, can't seem to find a lot of info here on what people are running.

What i'm hoping for is a quick detail on your setup (blade size, cells, auw) and you flying style, headspeed and runtime.

I'm thinking it will also be nice just to compare as well for everyone.

Thanks!

Here it goes.
When I flew it the first time the RPM was 2,300. I was happy with it but my friends criticized it and I brought down to 2,200 RPM. I had to reduce the Throttle travel to 80% to reach the 2,200 RPM. Now I feel it a little slower.
I use the set up that almost everyone advise here.
Edge blades, Scorpion motor, Kontronik Jive 80 ESC & a set of 5S - 4000 Mah Tuyrnigy (Cheap, and so far so good)
Run time. I do 4-4.30 minutes. I do not like to more than that and my batteries are no even warm when I land. I know I can go a minute or two longer, but I am happy with the time.

mmm, i'm running 2000 rpm at the moment. was running 1900 rpm with higher pitch, but decided to switch it up a bit and go to 2000 on the head and 10.5 degrees pitch. Collective is powerful but a bit slower than i'm used to with my logo 400. Then again, its a totally different sized machine.

Anybody else? oh, and if you could list your pitch too, that would be great.

I run following:

4035-560 mod 1.0, 12T mod 1.0 pinion
Jive 80HV esc
running 2200 rpm on head
14 degrees of pitch

nice balance of power etc, all bids u see of Kyle dahl are at 2200 rpm. It depends what flying u do but 2200 and up for fast harder 3d for sure IMO is all.

...Once upon a time there were Nitros, flybars and frequency pins...

I have a 4035-560 scorpion 80HV kontronik esc 600mm blades and I run 2150 on the headspeed with 10s 4500mah packs and 13 degrees of pitch 12tooth pinion and mod1 main gear. I feel like it has more than enough power for hard 3d. I usually fly 4 and a half minutes and my batteries aren't warm and still have about 30% left.

I build logo 600 and 700. To my mind I will use 12S 4000 same logo. But the 600 about 2150 2250 rpm and the 700 1950 2100. I hope the 700 will hard power but the 600 only is spare second heli is not to weight.
