Thanks krashtagain .

jay hall,
Yea the fin mod is sweet LOL,im thinking about getting the bracket that doesn't use the fin (forgot what its called). The pipe is alive and LOUD as heck.I thought my headspeed was too high so I checked it when I landed in the video, its only 0-20-35-50-90 and the main needle is 1 3/4 open and mid is a little past 1 turn open. She has sooo much power running in normal that idleup's going to be crazy. The only issue im going to have with the gov is the sensor (Align) ,I need another sensor bracket or I might have to get a whole other gov .Im lost trying to hook it up to the motor, wonder if I can fit a Spektrum backplate sensor on this motor with the pressure nipple on the backplate?

There is just enuff room for the nipple and sensor. Glad you like the R90. Dunno why, but it is such a 'friendly' heli and does as it is told with no nasty supprises, QuickUK upgrades permitting orizontal tailfin not rquired

Good job. I was at that field today around noon.
I ran across this article on align gov. setup. When I was helped to set mine up, this was the way. I used mix 1.

Nice Raptor! I really like the first time you were getting ready to lift off, it looked like a Phoenix arising out of the smoke and flames!

Awww yeah. Can't wait till you can idle up and flip it around. Sometimes it's painful after all the time and effort you still have to wait to break in the pack/engine. Not fair!

Is the sensor setup on the 90 the same as the Raptor 50?

Hey,,,, I thought you guys were covered in snow up there in MI.

Thanks so much for the comments guys .

Carey,
You know how I felt yesterday haha,I wanted to hit idleup sooo bad once I felt the power she has.I set some throttle curves last night until I get a gov hooked up.Its 29F out right now but feels like -0 so it might be a few days .

Thumpernator,
The spektrum backplate sensor will work on 30 size to 90 size motors but won't work on motors with the pump on the backplate. We have some snow but the cold is making up for what we don't have, feels like a drop of watter will freeze before it hits the deck .

Flying.

I should have been more specific. I was wondering about the magnet placement on the fan (if you wanted to go that route). On the Raptor 50, the magnets are on the bottom and you mount the sensor using the engine mount screws. On the Trex 700, the magnets are on top of the fan and the sensor has to be mounted to the frame, above the fan.

I would assume that the 90 is the same as the 50 (Raptors), but wanted to ask to be sure.

Thanks.

Dave
