ElyQ Just posted this on there site:

To our Valued Customers.

We want to take a moment and apologize to our loyal customers for the inconvenience some of you may be experiencing due to our production process of the torque tube conversion kit.

As you may know, the development and perfection of such integral products can sometimes be very trying. As we thought we had a great design, during our production process we ran into a few glitches and, since then, we have been striving hard to rework our manufacturing process in order to ensure a perfect final product.

We thank you all for your patronage and support, as we see the forums are full of positive and yes some negative comments, we are ready to address them all.

We will continue testing on our new design and hope to have the positive results before the 15th of February 2010. If all goes according to plan, we will start immediate and massive production of the TT conversion kit. Shipping from ElyQ to World Wide distributors will follow Immediately and kits will be available to the retail market very quickly.

To show our sincerity and dedication, ElyQ is going to make an offer that will help make the additional wait for the TT kit a little more forgivable. We are going to grant a 50% off the retail price of 129.90 USD through March 15th 2010. This means you will only pay 64.95 USD if you act quickly. If you have chosen the 50% off deal when you purchased your Competition 50 during the special introductory offer, we are going to discount that offer 50% more, which means you will receive your TT conversion kit for the special price of only 32.48. Just our way of saying: "sorry for the inconvenience, we truly appreciate your patience and understanding".

Please understand that we are a company whom strives for perfection, and are trying hard to show some separation from the other manufactures, by giving you something completely different and with unmistakable and persistent attention to performance, design, and quality.

Please feel confident in your purchase, and please rest assured that ElyQ is working hard to develop innovation and a superior product that exceeds all expectations.

Thank you very much.

Sincerely
ElyQ

now that is what i like to see. sure its taken a little longer then expected, but the fact that they addressed the issue head on and explained the reason for the delay, plus giving the discount on top of that makes it a great move on the manufacturers part...

way to go elyq

This is the sort of thing that makes certain brands of helicopter stand out in the crowd. Everyone excepts the odd problem, but being well informed and supported is what really makes the difference.

Good effort on this one. Personally I was beginning to think I'd made a mistake in going down the Ely-Q route. This is a very positive step.

I hope the shop I got mine from gets enough of them.

Cheers,

Simon
