I would like to convert my Vibe 90 (non-SG) to FBL.

Any thoughts on the best way to go?

hello

I will convert mine hopefully next week (once I receive the parts),

it will be
- Kasama cyber head + radix 710 SB
- Align 91 Black head engine + MP6
- Align 610 servos cyclic
- 8900 G on the rudder
- Mikado V-bar 04

I will let you know how it goes if you want

rgds

Yannick.

That appears to be a good choice, although a bit on the high-end side of the cost equation by the time it's all done.

If you already have a good tail gyro installed that you like, you cannot go wrong with Skookum SK360 and an RJX head.
Probably the most cost effective conversion available and flies fantastic.

I'll check it out. Yeah, I've got GY611 with a BLS251 on the tail.

Another cheap option..
you could get the trex 700 align kit and just get a 12mm to 10mm reduction collar...for the align 700 head

OR use the RJX 90 head and an align 3g...

OR you can wait for the Beast X...looks good and iis going to be like 200$ ish

OK - so it looks like a number of options are already in place.

My recommendation for SK360 is based on not having to dump a good tail setup.
All my birds that were already built out got SK360. I just picked up a brand new TREX500ESP/3G FBL Combo for a new toy.
Going forward anything I would build new would be 3 axis. But retrofitting an existing bird means selling a good gyro at a loss.

I think it makes good sense not to buy what you already have. So the SK360 is looking good.
