the instructions for the setup instruct you to switch out the links on the D-rods for the links in the FL kit.

the links that came with my kit look identical. anyone know what the difference is?

i ask because i stupidly stripped one of the D-rod links in the FL kit trying to force it on the larger swash to grip rod before i realized they were a different size.

thx.

if it ain't broke, break it.

I believe the rods are a bigger diameter.

thanks for the reply.

after some research, the answer is the newer kits (at least the LE) come with the upgraded rods/links. so, there is no difference between what i got in the kit and what came with the FL760. if you have an older 700 kit, Align is providing you with the newer rods/links that FBL requires.

if it ain't broke, break it.
