I've had a Acucell 8150 for about a year. I've used it to charge 3cell 800 and 2200 zippy's with no problem. Just recently, cell one on 4 of my 800's and 1 of my 2200's is measuring so far below 3.0V that it kicks off due to low voltage. I don't think I over discharged any of these while flying. I suppose it could be the batteries, but would be surprised if this many went bad the same way so coincedentally.
1. I'm leaning towards a bad balancing board in the charger, but have no idea how to fix it.
2. I've tried using NiMHd programs to bring up cell one above 3.0V with no luck. Any other ideas? Should I take the batteries into the LHS and see if they measure correctly there?
3. I've read somewhere where you can got into a calibration mode on this charger to reset individual voltage readings. Not sure if I should pursue that.
I'm getting a bit worried about this charger because I got 5 new 6s 3000's for my Trex 500 and don't want to mess them up....
