I'm looking for an older JR PCM receiver, model NER-627XG. These are PCM receivers, but they use the obsolete "G" circuit. If you have one that is in good working condition (no antenna cuts), I'll buy it! Thanks!

wierd "G" PCM
I need a "g-pcm" JR receiver. I have an older JR "Max computer" 6 channel Tx. It is capable of PCM mode, but uses the obsolete "G" curcuitry (which was proprietary by JR only).
I have the manual for the transmitter; it shows a picture of the receiver needed, and gives the model: NER-627XG (the "g" designating the pcm mode is "g".
Thanks!

He means the PCM scheme is Z-PCM. It's a series G reciever.

Nope. The Max, to the best of my recollection will poop out either FM or Z-PCM. S-PCM wasn't around yet.

JRPCM
The newer S type like 9303 do not support Z series PCM.

The XP9303 will support Z-PCM. You may have to send it to Horizon to have it enabled, but it will support Z-PCM as well as S-PCM and good ol' PPM.

In the mean time, I hope case172 finds a receiver!

Tnx! I'm gonna' try everything...
I guess I'm nostalgic, but I really want to get this JR MAX Computer computerized 6 channel Tx mated with a PCM receiver. It's in great shape, and actually the transmitter was ahead of it's time in regards to features.
I just gotta' figure out what type of PCM receiver will work with it, without spending a lot of money on "trial" receivers.
Thanks for the replies and help!
Bill
