Hello Srimok runraiders!

I haven't been able to fly my Srimok so much, so I can't put a finger directly if this is a setting problem or a natural flying behaviour for this machine. My second maiden last weekend, hey -12C or 10F cold, I noticed that when flying fast, my Srimok was a little unpredictable on the elevator as it was suddenly diving close to the ground. Also after stallturns, when planning out on the straight, sometimes she was hard to pull up! Actually I noticed this also on other birds as my TREX 600CF. I was told that maybe this is caused by too light paddles (as I'm using Stubz paddles). Also I'm using MAH G2 700mm blades.

I'm fully aware about I need to adapt me to the flying character of this beautiful bird, and I think it is a very nice flying machine when you learn its behaviour, though I wonder, how is the type of paddles affect this bird? What about recommended rotorblades?

Vantskruv, I have not noticed any oddities, but then again I only had few hours of flying mine before the cold realy set in.

I use V-paddles on all my helis and use GCT Extreme ULTRA blades on the Kasama, they are identical to the US Mavrick G4 blades.

Im going to throw a curve ball here

Light paddels (from my experiance) will make the machine balloon upwards not down towards the ground.

I would double check the elevator system, being the control arm from the servo along to the "Arm" that goes upwads towards the swash.

It has a grub screw at either end to locate it, i noticed mine had movement in them, so i had to remove them and flatten the end off the Grub screw AND the titanium shaft.

Thanks bathmagic! Though I don't have any play on elevator-shaft, my maiden crash actually had this fault on the pitch/ail shaft.

Actually I've a video on this event, it is a quite boring video, man my hands was very cold and I wanted to see how it behaved and tracked. Look from time 1:06, the close-one happens about 1:25:

I think I'll try to change to bigger paddles, as my stubz are quite small, to see if there is a difference, if not I'll try my 690 CY blades. I think there is the blade and paddle combination (or maybe it was very cold fingers??? ).

Edit: You may hear the engine doesn't go so rich, probably because the tank-vibes makes air into the fuel, so I need to take the frames apart and sand the frames.

Vantsruv,

Dont sand frames, you will get good results with Avant Aurora tank rubbers
