I too am interested as I just bought a radikal myself All input is greatly appreciated.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

I'm using a MinAir K&N style filter, they can be bought from HeliProz, Ron Lund, and most other places that stock MinAir parts. Daves Motors also has the UFO style, and there are other options out there.

Here's what the MinAir unit looks like installed...

XCell Spectra G
Radikal G20
Some obsolete nitro helis too...

Give Ron's a call, the one I bought did not have any engraving on it.

The lightest is no airfilter, just a velocity stack. Just don't drop your heli into a dirt pile

I like the ufo style but just concerned that it doesn't do as good of a job as the MA one.

It's a complex, costly, glow powered anti-gravity machine!

How about this airfilter
Anyone using this air filter? Looks nice. Not sure of the weight difference between it and the MA air filter.

I have one. It works well. I just did not want the extra weight. I sell it to you if you want it. PM me if you want it and we can work out a price.

If it works well and only weighs 0.2 oz., that is the one I will check into as I understand the MA one weighs in at 2.0 oz. That 1.8oz. difference is a very relevant one IMHO.

What does the MA filter weight
I didn't see any specs as far as what the MA air filter weights. Did I miss that? I'm too concerned with weight so that was my question between the two...

Weight
0.2 oz is the weight of the stock air scoop that comes with the G20 airplane motor.

2oz is the weight of the Minair filter.

The other one looks to be metal and may be heavier than the Minair filter, maybe Sparx can weigh it and comment as he's got that one he's looking to sell.

The CNC'd one mentioned above is 3.2 oz.

The ones I have on my Radikals are .7 oz.
