Just to answer the question. Its ready for me(and some friends) and I fly it weekly And I assure you that I wouldnt fly it if I didnt fly pretty darn good because I assure you Id fly something else if it didnt

I consider it more of a fun project and I like it this way. There are lots of decent options to choose from now so take advantage!

I will say this about the Beast...that is a crazy cheap price. As long as the sensors are good and go through a decent cal process they will have a very attractive product...

On a side note, they chick flying the 700 is pretty impressive. She comming to IRCHA this year?

She was there last year. Remember when everyone just disappeared off the flight line and stood at center stage

A German woman flying a flybarless Trex 700? Nice.

What do we know about this MicroBeast FBL system? Does the company have an accomplished track record? Will they offer any sort of support? The price is certainly below that of other systems. Competition like this will no doubt drive down the price of other units. Do you remember when the V-stabi cost $700 and people were gladly willing to pay that much?

2010 will certainly be the year of the flybarless heli. 10 years from now, people will be looking at flybars the same way they look at mechanical gyros now--as a forgotten relic of a bygone age.
